Woke up & rolling by 5:00.

Truck is running great. We stopped several times to stretch the legs out. At one place, we saw these tracks in the dust...

and...

We arrived at Ed & Alena's house right at noon. They have enough room for us to park right there in front of the house.

Stephen and Andrew have grown SO MUCH since the last time we saw them. They're 2-1/2 already!

And here is the latest addition to the Yeh household. Meet Kona ...

Yep, by sheer coincidence, the breeder had named her Kona. It was fate.  (for those of you who don't know, that was the name of their last dog.)

Ed & Alena had ordered Dim Sum from a nearby restaurant and had it there at the house. They must have been expecting more people because I ate so much that I could barely walk and there was still so many leftovers that they sent a bunch along with us and still had some left for themselves. That feast was enough to send me into a food coma, but NO, they grilled up some tri-tip and vegetables for dinner! It was SO good! (I can't move)

Off to bed around 9:30 to rest up for tomorrow's drive to Weed.
